[Watch] Customs Open Fire At Truck Carrying Smuggled Liquor During High-Speed Chase In JB

Police had arrested a lorry driver who tried to flee from the custody of the authorities.

The suspect is believed to be smuggling a load of liquor estimated to be value RM1.8 million.

In the method, the lorry crashed into the car pushed by the Customs.

Shortly afterwards, a Customs officer was seen popping out from the passenger window and fired a number of pictures on the lorry to cease the car.

Johor police chief Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat stated in an announcement that the suspect is a 40-year-old man.

The suspect was arrested at Jalan Tuas-Lima Kedai, in Iskandar Puteri, yesterday after police acquired a name from Customs officers at 1.12 pm to assist detain the lorry.
