LONDON — A U.Ok. Conservative MP has been suspended from the celebration after being accused of watching pornography within the House of Commons chamber.
Neil Parish, who chairs the surroundings, meals and rural affairs committee, faces an investigation by the requirements committee and the impartial complaints scheme.
A spokesperson for the chief whip mentioned: “Having spoken to the chief whip this afternoon, Neil Parish MP is reporting himself to the standards committee of the House of Commons.”
They added that Parish has been suspended from the Conservative whip pending the result of that investigation.
The allegation was made at a gathering of Conservative MPs Tuesday geared toward enhancing the gender stability of parliament, the place attendees shared tales of sexism and sexual harassment at Westminster.
