Tengku Ahmad Rithauddeen dies at 94

KUALA LUMPUR, April 29 (Bernama) — Former Defence Minister Tengku Tan Sri Ahmad Rithauddeen Tengku Ismail died at his residence in Jalan Duta right here at 8.43 pm because of outdated age.

He was 94.

The son of the UMNO veteran, Tengku Farith stated his father who was fondly recognized ‘Ku Deen’ suffered a stroke two weeks in the past and was handled at a personal hospital and allowed to discharge.

“But this morning he experienced breathing difficulties before passing away,” he stated when contacted by Bernama right here tonight.

Tengku Farith stated the stays of his father could be delivered to the Federal Territory Mosque at Jalan Duta at 8.30 am (April 30) for prayers on the mosque.

However, he stated the placement of his father’s burial has not but been determined to be on the National Mosque or Bukit Kiara cemetery.
