The cross-border bus and taxi companies between Singapore and Malaysia will resume companies beginning 1 May.
According to New Strait Times, Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) stated the cross-border bus companies would come with:
- Services 160, 170 and 170X operated by SBS Transit Ltd
- Service 950 operated by SMRT Buses Ltd
- Services TS1, TS3, TS6 and TS8 operated by Transtar Travel Pte Ltd
The working hours of Services 160, 170, 170X and 950 stay the identical as pre-Covid the place it operates between 5.20am and 12.30am with related frequency.
Regarding cross-border taxi companies, LTA is working carefully with Mlaysia counterpart Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat (APAD).
Those travelling to Johor can both board a taxi on the Queen Street taxi terminal or ebook one by taxi firms with licensed cross-border taxi drivers.
With the resumption of cross-border bus companies, the present Vaccinated Travel Bus Services operated by Transtar Travel Pte Ltd and Handal Indah Sdn Bhd will stop on 1 May.
