Prime Minister Scott Morrison has addressed the Reserve Bank of Australia’s (RBA) determination to boost rates of interest to 0.35 per cent, the primary price improve in over a decade.

Mr Morrison mentioned “one of the hallmarks of the success” of the pandemic and financial restoration was the Federal Government working with the RBA.

”The RBA has made a very important statement about where we are now on the journey out of the pandemic,” he mentioned.

Mr Morrison quoted the RBA: “They speak today about the extraordinary support during the pandemic that it is appropriate to start the process of normalising monetary conditions.”
